Senior 3D/Industrial Designer

BUSINESS OVERVIEW
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sit as a core part of the creative team working across multi-faceted design of experiences in retail spaces and with product displays.
- Take a leading role for 3D design to develop fully rationalized 3D designs and visuals based on ideas or creative concepts in projects involving campaigns and experiences from ideation and design, to animation and execution.
- Work closely with cross functional teams and directly with clients leading projects, building their trust and confidence in creative/design solutions at every stage.
- Develop and deliver inspiring creative presentations to clients that communicate ideas through mood imagery and description using adequate detailing to convey best in class creative concepts while inspiring others.
- Using a solid understanding of build, production and the technical aspects of the design process, work closely with production team to make sure timelines and budgets and design visions are honored through to final implementation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, Such as Advanced renderings, Interactive products, Automation, AR/VR, Task & project managements.
- Manage and/or mentor junior creatives and freelancers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Review project requirements and propose visual solutions that meet the client's needs.
- Distill creative feedback, and always find ways to build on ideas- maintaining high quality work
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of post-graduate, professional design experience
- A degree in Industrial Design, 3D Product Design, or related
- Competency in 3D CAD software manufacture modeling
- Proficiency in 3D Studio Max for design rendering - 3DS Max preferred, but proficiency in blender, c4d or other similar applications will be considered
- Proficiency in Adobe CS
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to communicate and present
- Design knowledge in a marketing/FMCG environment preferred
- Experience in shopper marketing, retail design skills preferred
- Sketching (Digital preferred)
- Friendly and dynamic disposition with strong interpersonal capabilities
- Decisive, driven, and logical thinker
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
- Ability to lead by example and perform well under pressure
- Good mechanical/structural aptitude and knowledge of various materials and their associated manufacturing processes
- Ability to work in the office 3 days a week
